The University of the West Indies Mona is pleased to welcome you to our Western Jamaica Campus, located in Montego Bay, St. James. Our ideal location, in the tourism Mecca of Jamaica, and overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea, is positioned to attract students and academia from across the region and indeed across the world.
In recognition of the growing demand for tertiary level institutions of distinction in Western Jamaica, and in keeping with the objectives of our 2007-2012 UWI Strategic Plan, the UWI Mona Western Jamaica Campus is opened, offering programmes designed to reflect the areas of growth and development in Western Jamaica.
Our programmes include undergraduate degrees in Management Studies, Banking and Finance, Management Information Systems, and Hospitality and Tourism Management. Additionally, the Mona School of Business will be offering their MBA programme with concentrations in Marketing, or Banking and Finance.
As we celebrate our 60th Anniversary as the premier educational institution in the region, we specially welcome our new students, and invite all of you to take advantage of the opportunities that are made available to you as a member of an educational institution that has developed an international reputation for its commitment to quality in teaching, research, and the promotion of Caribbean culture and development.
